God wants us to be His friends! He wants to be my best friend.
"Friendship with God is resered for those who reverence Him". (Ps. 25:14a LB)

I love that song our choir used to sing, "I am a friend of God". (I'd like to hear it again.) It asks the question of the psalmist: "Who am I that You are thinking of me?"
That's an amazing thought to meditate upon.
That song has been going thru my head the last couple of days.
It's comforting to know that God stays my friend no matter how many times I think or say or do the wrong thing.
